Confidence is key to success in maths. This workshop helps students rebuild belief in their ability, strengthen problem-solving skills, and approach challenges with a positive mindset.

In this workshop, we focus on:

• Recognising past successes and reframing mistakes as learning opportunities.

• Building confidence through guided problem-solving and encouragement.

• Setting realistic, achievable goals to promote steady progress.

• Learning how persistence and effort lead to improvement.

• Practising positive self-talk and motivation techniques.

By the end of the workshop, students will:

• Believe more strongly in their own ability to “do maths.”

• Approach challenging questions with greater persistence and less fear.

• Feel motivated and ready to take ownership of their learning.
